We offer the opportunity to hire out our premises for select times, for the purposes of fitness content creation and PT sessions. We are fortunate enough to have a facility, which has proven to be the ideal location and size for creating high-quality video and photo content.
Subtle Studio is the perfect location for producing amazing content as it is unique and aesthetically pleasing. Whether it be cinematic style, vintage, landscape or portrait â we have the capability to assist in whatever style you wish to film.
With regards to bookings, there are two options: STUDIO PACKAGE âAâ or âBâ.
Studio Package A

We recommend that anyone looking to hire the premises should come with a plan for the shoot in terms of things they want to cover to ensure that they make the most of their time. For example, we advise performing a few reps of each set so that you can get 2-3 months of footage in one filming session.
To help anyone who is struggling with the organisational side, we have put together a template to assist you. This will also help us and the filming team with what to expect before the date so that we can ensure everything can be completed within the advised timeframes.
We will colour grade and amend all footage taken with Studio Package B so that you can extract it all within a reasonably small storage device. Alternatively, we can create a shared drive for you to access from your computer.
Please note: although the footage would belong to the hirer, we may ask for your permission to use some content for future marketing purposes.

CASE STUDY
Louise green FITNESS
Louise is a Bournemouth-based fitness influencer and online coach. We collaborated with Louise and she used our space to create high-level content and demonstrations for her social media platforms. As this was completed in the comfort of a closed gym, Louise achieved the exact angles and specification that she had desired.
Louise had full control of lighting and use of our in-house studio softbox lights to create that professional studio look. She had the option to choose between either warm, cold or neutral key lighting and with the help of the talented camera crew, she chose to go with a slightly warmer tone.
âSubtle were extremely accommodating to my needs and helped me put together my demonstrations for my online platform. It was very useful to have the whole gym to myself in order to comfortably perform all the exercises. The lighting gave my finished content a very professional and high quality look which I was really pleased with. Also the fact that they offered the camera crew and editing within the package made the whole process so much easier â would highly recommendâ

FIRETTO FITNESS
Fab is one of our resident Personal trainers at Subtle Studio. Fab also works as an online coach so we worked with him to produce some professional content for his online app and also for his personal PT business and social media.
The footage we shot was purely self-promotional content for motivation videos for his business. We filmed predominantly in portrait so that the footage could be translated easily into Instagram videos which is a main source of promotion for Fabâs business. As you can see below, the footage that we captured was very cinematic. Fab opted to keep some natural light in the background with certain shots to generate more depth which we think gave the footage a really professional finish.
âI am a PT at Subtle, however I saw the opportunity to create some really professional content so I spoke to the guys about doing some filming. The fact that I could have it all filmed for me and not have to worry about sorting a camera crew made it so much easier to arrange and a lot less hassle. I have an online platform, however I used the footage predominantly for my social media content and was really happy with the end resultâ

As part of our hiring service, we go above and beyond to give clients the best possible experience and finished result whilst filming content in our gym. So, as opposed to leaving clients to their own devices, which we are more than happy to do, we also try to provide added value which other gym spaces do not. Part of this additional offering is not only giving you control of the lighting inside the premises but giving you additional studio soft box lights which you are able to use as part of the service for either package A or B. You can choose between 3 settings (cold, neutral, warm), to decide the overall look of your footage. As these are on site, this reduces the potential stress of having to sort this yourself and potential expense. This also ensures you get a high quality finished product which truly sets your footage apart from the competition. In addition to this, we also have colour changing LEDâs behind our mirrors which can set a nice subtle tone for your footage in whatever colour scheme you decide. This can be one that matches your businessâ colour scheme and logo, or simply one you prefer.
